Kacie Saraiva
Kacie has been an artist with Life Inc. since 2017. Her practice explores the interplay of color, texture, and pattern through the use of markers, pens, and paint. By layering these materials, she creates dynamic works that highlight her attention to detail and experimentation with surface and design. This summer, Kacie’s work was presented at her first festival, marking an important milestone in her artistic career. She continues to expand her practice, seeking new opportunities to grow and share her vision with a wider audience.
Livy Young
Livy has been an artist with Life Inc. since 2009. Inspired by her beloved cats, Sophia and Jake, she often incorporates their playful spirit and feline-like movements into her work. Her art is distinguished by expressive strokes and a sense of whimsy that reflects both her love of animals and her creative perspective. Over the years, Livy’s work has been featured in numerous exhibitions, showcasing her growth and dedication as an artist.
Katrina Cathcart
Katrina has been an artist with Life Inc. since 2005. Her drawings often weave together imagery of her favorite places in her home state of Rhode Island, along with meaningful phrases and figures from her life. These elements are transformed into vibrant, swirling patterns and designs that reflect both personal narrative and creative expression. Katrina’s work has been widely exhibited, including a three-year national tour at the Smithsonian Institution’s Dillon S. Ripley Center. She is also a recipient of the Award of Excellence from VSA Arts in partnership with Volkswagen of America, recognizing her artistic achievements and contributions to the field.
Emmet Estrada
Emmet has been creating art with LIFE Inc. since 2007. An obsessive drawer, he fills pages with intricate lines and details, while also exploring painting and beadwork as part of his artistic practice. His unique vision and dedication to craft have led his work to be featured in numerous exhibitions, including the prestigious Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. In recognition of his talent, Emmet was also honored as a recipient of the Wynn Newhouse Award, celebrating artists who push boundaries and redefine perspectives.
