Screening of Rising Waters: What Climate Change Means for One Small Rhode Island Town, a documentary by students of Mount Hope High School, teachers, and the Collaborative. Followed by a panel with filmmakers and URI researchers.

Through student storytelling and community voices, Rising Waters explores how climate change and sea-level rise are affecting Warren, Rhode Island. The film examines vulnerable neighborhoods, community concerns, and local efforts to prepare for a changing coastline.

Following the screening, filmmakers and University of Rhode Island researchers will participate in a panel discussion about coastal resilience, community engagement, and how storytelling and research can help communities move from understanding risk to taking action.
