Join Fiber Artist & Educator Hollis Hickerson as they lead a creative learning experience introducing wet felting techniques in this hands-on, four-hour workshop. Participants will explore the fundamentals of wet felting, transforming raw wool fibers into sturdy, functional fabric. By the end of the class, each student will craft their own handmade felt bag, learning skills such as fiber laying, water and soap application, wool fulling, and shaping the felt. Whether you’re new to felting or looking to expand your textile practice, this workshop offers a relaxed, creative environment to discover the meditative and transformative process of wet felting. materials are included, and no prior experience is necessary.

Bring an open mind, a bit of patience, and be prepared to get your hands wet as we journey through the rich textures and vibrant colors of wool.
