Linus Powers is a lifelong Rhode Islander located in the East Bay. His work explores harmony between nature and industrialization and he uses bold colors and dense layers of paint to transform mundane scenes into something more fantastical. He uses paint to dramatize the world around him and emphasize the beauty in everyday life. 

In addition to painting, Linus loves playing guitar and writing music in the style of old videogame soundtracks and toy commercials.
